This is a Flextron gas connector from their Ss38 series of connectors, which is designed for indoor and outdoor use with gas dryers and water heaters. It has an outer diameter of 1/2" and an inner diameter of 3/8" and is made of uncoated stainless steel. On the ends of this 70" long connecter are nut fittings.
